OK,
Done some more research and the Sonar button assignments are quite different
to the Mackie default layout that I sent previously. This is the correct
layout for Sonar. I'm intending this kind of thing to be configurable
within the Mackie Display Reader):
Line 1:
Track/Bus | Send | Name/Value | SMPTE/Beats
Line 2:
Pan | Plug-in
Line 3:
EQ | Compressor | F1/cut/1 | F2/copy/2 | F3/Paste/3 | F4/delete/4 |
F5/Space/5 | F6/alt/6 | F7/tab/7 | F8/back Tab/8
Line 4:
Bank left | Bank right
Line 5:
Channel left | Channel right | New Audio track/9 | new MIDI track/0 | Fit
tracks/decimal point | Fit project/- | OK/Enter | Cancel | Next Window/Tab |
Close Window/Back Tab
Line 6:
Flip | Edit
Line 7 (in the descriptions below, Mod = Modifier, Auto = automation, CG =
control group:
Mod M1 | Mod M2 | Auto Read/Off | Auto Snapshot | CG track | CG Aux | CG
Main
Line 8:
Mod M3 | Mod M4 | Auto Disarm | Auto offset | CG Save | CG Undo | CG Redo
Line 9:
Marker | Loop | Select | Punch | Jog Param | Loop on/off | Home
Line 10 (same as the default):
Rewind | FF | Stop | Play | Record
Button in the middle of the cursors = Zoom
Button to top right of jog wheel = Scrub
Best wishes.

Hi Tim
Thanks, this is really helpful. This is a good description, well done!
I've got a question about the select button, which schould be above the
transport section. In the mackie guide of sonar there it says often you have
to press this button, not one above the faders.
Which of the buttons over the transport section is also the select button?
The solo button is shining red as long I press it.
Thanks
Ben
