Do a key passthrough and press the insert key, a copy of whatever event is
inserted, you can then alter it to your liking, including time and
everything...

Ok   I got it but I want to add some extra notes to the cord as I don't like
the spacing between the cello and violin. I read help ono how to incert an
event but I don't see an event thing in the encert menu. Am I misinig
something?

you could just select the track/s and time range , then alter the velocity.
