Hi all!
checked out the CWACCESS Window in Sonar X64 and it turns out that JSonar
isn't getting that information. Meaning that, if your in the audio preset
or, softsynthe dialog and you tab across then, you can't read off any of the
buttons in the preset dialog box if your in Sonar X64. Note: the
information is being sent to the CWACCCESS Window as I check this out with
WindowEyes. It's just that JSonar isn't picking up this information. Try
this: open up one of the Sonitus affects in Sonar X64. You won't be able to
navigate the dialog box, even though these affects are 64 bit DXi. As a
side note, I think everyone should probably think about using JBridg for all
32 bit plug-ins in Sonar X64. That's because the audio affects and
softsynthes dialog are messed up when using BitBridge, such that you can't
see anything in the CWACCESS Window, even if the information is there. You
also can't see the ACT learn button. I think in order to expose all buttons
in the audio affects and softsynthes dialogs, when using BitBridge, you need
too right shift click when opening a plug-in as those buttons won't show up
by default. In fact, the audio affects and softsynthes dialog box, look
totally different when using BitBridge where as if you use JBridge, the box
looks as expected.
Vic, you may be able to work around this particular issue although I doubt
it. Where as, if you are using JBridge then, you can see the CWACCESS
Window and everything works as advertised or at least it would, once JSonar
becomes aware of CWACCESS support in the audio affects and softsynthes
dialog box in Sonar X64. Note: to enable JBridge support for a plug-in, go
into the Plug-in manager. Locate the VST in question then, go to the
properties button and check the box for JBridge support. You have to do
this for every VST that you have installed. Talking of which, if you open
the plug-in manager in any version of Sonar 8.5.3, and you have JSonar
installed then, JSonar doesn't move the focused to the plug-in manager. I
have tried accessing the plug-in manager from the tools menu without any
scripts installed and as soon as I click on it, Jaws immediately moves the
focused to it. Vic, as soon as you have something to test with regard to
all of the above then, I will be happy to assist. As always, thanks for all
that you do! It's appreciated!
